
Year K: Students learn to be a nature journalist, go on a bush picnic, investigate forces of push and pull and play wellbeing bingo games.
Years 1 - 2: Learn how to explore the features of the local area, research microbeasts, test your knowledge about living things and work out the height of a tree.
Years 3 - 4: Visit a mangrove, learn how to map, create ways to keep beaches sustainable and build a mini wicking garden.
Years 5 - 6: Students can learn about water as a resource and go on a bird walk. They can also build a wind turbine and learn about contact and non-contact forces.
