Project for Stage 3
Driving question
How can we use technology to create things and solve real world problems?
Maker space
The development of our Maker Space has enhanced teacher capabilities through collaborative practice and professional learning to facilitate 21st Century learning outcomes. The ‘Maker Space’ is based on a futures learning style classroom, where student groups are fluid, there is no set area for seats and tables. The tools and technology available are highly engaging and enable a problem solving and design thinking culture among students and staff. The Maker Space project has increase engagement in STEM, enhanced a project-based learning culture among the students and staff, and given students the knowledge and skills to use innovative technology and tools.
