Evidence tells us that young children learn best when they are actively engaged, interacting and co-constructing learning. Play provides an opportunity for children to explore ideas, concepts and develop relationships. This session will support teachers in knowing how to assess learning for young learners in everyday play situations, and ongoing planning and to identify acquisition of skills and knowledge across the Early Stage 1 outcomes.
