The following professional learning courses have been developed to support students, staff and schools as part of the Student Behaviour Strategy. They are available for all staff to access in an easily accessible eLearning format.

School-based non-teaching staff members make an important contribution to student progress and achievement by supporting principals, students and teachers, and maintaining positive relationships with parents/caregivers and the wider community.

This eLearning provides the fundamentals to help teachers establish essential good classroom practice. Classroom Management Fundamentals eLearning is divided into five modules: setting the scene, positive classroom environments, establishing your practice, active engagement and responding to student behaviour.

Introduction to Functional Based Assessment (FBA) eLearning provides the foundations understanding behaviour and that all behaviour is functionally related to the environment. By understanding why and when behaviours occur educators can develop, implement and evaluate interventions that better meets the needs of the student.

Introduction to Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) eLearning
Introduction to Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) eLearning provides the foundations for the Positive Behaviour for Learning framework and is the pre-requisite course for all other PBL professional eLearning. The course aims to develop participant understanding of the positive behaviour for learning framework systems and practices, educational context and outlines the benefits of positive, proactive instructional approach to behaviour support.
Introduction to Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) eLearning is a prerequisite course for all other PBL courses.

Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) Tier 1 School-wide systems of support eLearning
Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) Tier 1 School-wide Systems of Support eLearning focusses on flexible, continuously available prevention and early interventions for all students to reduce inappropriate behaviour.
This eLearning aims to build school and teacher capacity to reduce the occurrences of inappropriate behaviours, encourage positive behaviour and teach social and emotional skills. Intervention strategies address academic supports, behavioural, and social/emotional competencies to reengage students in learning.
