Evaluations completed (2004–2010)
The Australian Government Quality Teacher Programme (AGQTP) was managed in NSW from 2006-2010, by the Student Engagement and Program Evaluation Bureau.
Evaluations were conducted to assess the range of teacher professional development programs across schools, in all three sectors (government, independent and Catholic Education). The following are reports from evaluations conducted by organisations external to AGQTP.
- Teachers as learners; Australian Government Quality Teacher Program. Action Learning for School Teams Project (2004)This evaluation was conducted by the Division of Professional Learning, Faculty of Education & Social Work, University of Sydney.
- Action learning: what works? (2005) This evaluation was conducted by the University of Technology, Sydney and the University of Wollongong.
- Evaluative inquiry into the sustainability of professional learning about school-based action learning (2005) This evaluation was conducted by the Faculty of Education, University of Wollongong and the Division of Professional Learning, Faculty of Education and Social Work, University of Sydney.
- Evaluation study of the impact of professional learning on teacher capacity in implementing curriculum planning and assessment frameworks, incorporating connected outcomes groups (COGs) (2009) This evaluation was conducted by the University of Western Sydney.
- AGQTP; taking professional standards into practice (2009)This evaluation was conducted by the Faculty of Education and Social Work, University of Sydney.
