2021 Rural Experience Placements
Applications for 2021 Rural Experience placements are now open.
Available placements are listed below, applications are submitted online and close Sunday 7 March 2021.
Placements can commence from Term 2, however application requests for a delayed (eg, Term 3) start will be considered.
Before applying for a placement:
- Read the Rural Experience Program Guidelines (particularly section 3 Eligibility and section 6 Conditions) and the Guide to applying.
- Speak with your substantive principal to ensure that your participation in the program will be supported.
Applicants can only apply for placements at their substantive level (as stated in section 6.1 of the Guidelines).
How to apply for a placement:
- Review the placement list below and take note of the "Job Reference Number" or school name of any placements of interest.
- Access the online application portal to apply.
- All placements are displayed at the bottom of the page.
- To search for a particular placement, enter the Job Reference Number into the Job Reference Number field and click search. Alternatively, enter the school name into the keywords field and click search.
- Click on the name of the placement for further information and to apply online.
- Ensure that you have the required documentation to apply:
- Cover letter (maximum 2 pages as PDF) outlining how your experience addresses the school requirements for this placement.
- Resume / CV (maximum 2 pages as PDF)
- Endorsement of application form signed by your substantive Principal.
